What is Battery Monitor?

Battery Monitor is one of our featured products which provides remote voltage sensoring of low voltage sources such as solar batteries. The product consists of a wireless sensor module which transmits up to 8 sensors voltage readings to the wireless receiver (up to 100 meters).

The wireless receiver includes a visual display of voltage on a LCD display, and also has the ability to send the data to a host computer.

A Windows service is provided to log data to an SQL database for further analysis.

Example

On the right of this page we have a live Battery Monitor which is reporting the outside ambient temperature and voltage of a deep cycle battery which is charged via solar panels. Additional sensors are used to report humidity and 5 volt supply.

Addtional sensors may be added to measure light, sound levels, gas etc.

What is Security Sentry

TechnicaOne Security Sentry is a web site protection mechanisim wholey designed by TechnicaOne Business Solutions to protect and restrict accss to IIS locally hosted web sites. It has been protecting all TechnicaOne web sites since 2009.

In addition to protecting web sites, Security Sentry provides visitor metrics based on a number of entities including Visitors IP Adddress, Country and City of origin as well as number of unique visits from each country and city.

Our Server

TechnicaOne Business Solutions operates our business using a powerfull in house server comprising of a 6 core processor with 16 gb of memory. This server uses the latest technology to provide energy efficient operation while maintaining high operational performance when required. To ensure a high level of uptime, we designed a special online power supply which isolates our network from the mains power and will keep everything running through power interuptions which could last for many hours. Our servers are however fully maintained in house which may result in uptime interuptions from time to time, this server uptime is however fully within our control and therefore never experience unexpected downtime.

Our server operates Microsoft Small Business Server 2011 which is the backbone of our internal business operations for email and back office applications, While our external facing applications are ASP.net web sites and services.

Microsoft Small Business Server is a critical part of our back office and has proven to be a low cost of operation environment for any small to meduim business. TechnicaOne Business Solutions provides services to our clients in relation to installation and as required support.
